The airborne release of cremated remains gives the family an option when a loved one has passed.

Scattering by air is a method of releasing your cremated remains in a legal and dignified manner from our single engine aircraft.  Emily designed and built a special box and holding tube which is kept strictly inside the cabin.  Ashes are loaded while our plane is in our hanger rather than in flight.  The release with a handle can then be made at your precise moment.  The ashes are dispersed from under the aircraft.  This is a much more practical and efficient method than I have experienced in the past.

Alaska Ash Scatterings releases loved ones over your choice of areas near Palmer, Wasilla or Anchorage, Alaska. These areas are possibly where the person has enjoyed a beautiful site of Alaska, or has special memories.  These memories will then continue each time you gaze over this terrain.  Our aircraft can be chartered for a further destination, please call for quote.

After the flight, we follow-up by giving you a certificate noting the date and exact geographic location.  Any permits required by the State of Alaska, EPA, or government agencies will be achieved by us prior to your charter.      If the family is unable to join, ashes can be mailed to us by U.S. Mail, Priority Express. (Please contact Emily for mailing instructions or your local postmaster) The arrangements still will be to your desired area. A witness is welcome to fly along if you have someone or we can connect with one of the local funeral homes to join us. Pictures can be taken as well at your request.     Please call if you have any questions or in need of a referral to other areas of the state.  I welcome all calls!
