Can family go on the charter?
Of course!  Our Cessna 206 is set up to carry three passengers.  We have headsets, so communication is audible.

Where do we meet with you and the airplane?
Our aircraft is generally located at Wolf Lake Airpark.  Located between Palmer & Wasilla, towards Hatcher's Pass.  Some days it can be windy here, and in that case, we can meet up with you at Merrill Field (Anchorage), Palmer, Birchwood or Wasilla.  We are totally flexible.

What if the weather is bad the day we are scheduled to fly?
We are here for you.  It is Alaska and we are familiar with the many changes in the weather the day can bring us.  We will try our best to communicate with you to suggest the best time for your flight.  Safety is our first concern and we can always wait till the next day.

Can we also scatter a wreath?
It is unlawful to drop anything that is not biodegradable.  My suggestion is a packet of wildflower seed mix , rose petals or bird seed.  I generally have on hand seed mixes of perennial flowers from Alaska Mill & Feed that are made for Alaska's climate.

Can I scatter my animals?
We have received ashes from our local animal control and have scattered them rather than have them dispersed their way.  I have scattered my own dogs, irish wolfhounds, in an area actually where I scattered my father.  It just seemed comforting to have us all in the same area.

Can I scatter more than one individual or pets at the same time?
As you wish.  Some of my fondest trips have been with families that have included their beloved pets.

I want to save a small portion of ashes, can you help?
Yes, I have special vials always on hand for that purpose.

I live out of state and am unable to go on your flight, what can I do?
The ashes would need to be mailed directly to us via U.S. postal service, Priority Mail Express. Let Emily know when mailed, she would then contact you to confirm after receiving. Then you can set a date and location for the release.
We would ask a witness to join us on your charter. A witness could be of your choosing too; a closest relative, friend of the family, pastor or funeral director. Emily could take pictures if you would like and send with your certificate of dispersment.
